In this season of Thanksgiving, when we thank God for His Word, please continue to remember those who are still waiting. Most of us have more than one Bible on our bookshelf. Written in the language of our heart, giving us a daily opportunity to turn to the Word that is a lamp to our feet and a light to our path (Psalm 119:105).
Many of the nations, where Bible-less people reside, have unstable and hostile political situations making the work of Bible translation both difficult and risky. It is not easy to gather a team (translator, exegetical advisor, reviewers and consultant) in these areas. Yet, there are tremendous individuals of courage willing to make a great personal investment into this calling. Some team members are not believers when the work begins but become believers during the process of translation. God is able to order footsteps and to direct hearts. Please ask our Father to show His presence to all involved!
Please continue to seek opportunities to meet together in prayer for Bible-less people groups and consider encouraging your friends to join you in a great fundraising idea. Thank you for being a partner in this endeavor! In His Service, Karen Stobaugh God’s Word for the Nations
